Beware of easy remedies: "Ocala gets approval for money saving water supply".
The city will be allowed to draw water from the lower Floridan aquifer instead of two costly alternatives: extracting from a distant source like the Ocklawaha River, or building a desalination plant for $500 Million. But what will it cost to suck the Floridan aquifer dry?
